Are you interested in rum-making? The Arechabala Rum Factory can be found in the north-western part of the town. It is the factory where Bucanero and Varadero rums are distilled. The factory was the idea of José Arechabala, a Spanish immigrant of whom it got its name. At the beginning it was only a small distillery. Later, it had grown significantly.
