Variadades Galiano

Variadades Galiano is another popular shopping spot in Havana. It is actually the point where the Av de Italia and San Rafael thoroughfares meet. You will find everything here, ranging from old records to clothing and crafts. It is very popular among local people and visitors, too. The Variadades Galiano is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00 and on Sundays 9:00 until 13:00. (June 2013)

Fondo Cubano de Bienes Culturales

If your destination in Santa Clara, I have good news for you. The Fondo Cubano de Bienes Culturales is also a great shopping spot of Cuba. It is a shopping street nicknamed the “Boulevard” by locals. With good restaurants and shops, it is the main shopping spot in the town. If you would like to buy good handicrafts, this is the place to go. There are excellent tourist shops in the area.


Santiago de Cuba’s ARTex is a great place to go shopping. Any type of souvenir you would like to buy, you will find it here. From CDs to Che souvenirs, you will find everything here. It is open daily from 11:00 to 23:00. (June 2013)
