Ugarkovic, who landed in Western Sydney last week, was delighted to return and represent the region where he grew up.<\/p>\n

The Baulkham Hills local has adjusted well to life in the Red & Black and made his club debut for his hometown club last weekend against Western United.<\/p>\n

“I’m loving it, it’s been a great change and a good transition to the club. I’m getting used to the new routines and new environment, so I’m loving every minute of it so far,” said Ugarkovic.<\/p>\n

“I think growing up in the area, I’ve always wanted to play for the club and I’ve got that great opportunity now.<\/p>\n

“I’ve always watched them growing up and with my cousin previously playing for the club, it’s always been on my radar for sure.<\/p>\n

“My mum’s happy, I’ve been away for nine years now so she’s over the moon.  I don’t know how long that will last but. The families happy so life’s good.”<\/p>\n

\nAfter being thrown into the action in the Wanderers 5-0 win against Western United, Ugarkovic is determined to gel as quickly as possible with the rest of the team.<\/p>\n

“The boys took me in quite well and obviously it’s going to take a bit of time on the field understanding players,” explained Ugarkovic.<\/p>\n

“I’ve got to learn that as soon as possible so we can gel and keep getting wins on the board.”<\/p>\n

\nThe Wanderers will be looking to build on their current momentum to solidify a place in the Finals Series,  a pressure that Ugarkovic is embracing.<\/p>\n

“There’s a lot of pressure. When you look at us, you’re not just coming in to perform, you’re coming in to win and do well for the club to move up the table and secure that Finals spot,” said Ugarkovic.<\/p>\n
