The Wanderers Foundation over the last six months has been working closely with Reclink, Foodbank, Ronald McDonald House, Multicultural Youth Affairs Network, Lebanese Muslim Association, Nexus Soccer Solutions and RSL Defence Care to create memorable experiences both on and off the field including at last Saturday\u2019s season crowd record Sydney Derby.<\/p>\n
The community groups, who have all been making a massive difference to the Western Sydney community, will now continue to have the opportunity to redeem tickets to the Wanderers three remaining regular season home matches at Bankwest Stadium.<\/p>\n
Western Sydney Wanderers FC CEO John Tsatsimas praised the work of the Wanderers Foundation in ensuring that football can be easily accessible.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are very proud as a club to be able to bring the community together on both our match day and on events in our Western Sydney region,\u201d said Tsatsimas. <\/p>\n

Chief Executive Officer at Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney Belinda Woolford thanked the Wanderers for continuing to help making precious memories.<\/p>\n
\u201cFamilies with seriously ill or injured children, absolutely love spending time as a family cheering on the Western Sydney Wanderers,\u201d said Woolford.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe see first-hand, time and time again, how much our families appreciate receiving tickets to Wanderers home games. They\u2019re always so grateful for the chance to create happy memories together, during their child\u2019s treatment.\u201d<\/p>\n
Reclink Senior Sports and Arts Coordinator Adam Yee spoke highly of the Foundation\u2019s work in helping integrate disadvantaged and marginalised communities.<\/p>\n
\u201cReclink assists disadvantaged and marginalised communities to participate in sport and recreational opportunities on a daily basis and we see the vital role that physical activity plays in achieving mental wellbeing,\u201d said Yee.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe generous offer from the Wanderers adds an extra dimension by which we can help to include and integrate these communities and families by giving access to a tight knit and fervent supporter group that the Western Sydney Wanderers has.<\/p>\n
\u201cMany of our community members who have experienced mental health issues, low socio-economic situations, homelessness or are from refuge\/asylum seeker backgrounds are now solid Wanderers supporters\u2026 if they weren\u2019t before of course!\u201d<\/p>\n
