The Western Sydney Wanderers Girls Academy U14s etched their names into the history books, lifting their first-ever Youth League One Championship trophy with a 3\u20131 win over APIA Leichhardt FC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wanderers made the perfect start, striking inside the opening minute when Ally Wrzynski\u2019s driven cross forced an own goal to give her side an early lead. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first half proved a fierce contest with chances at both ends, but the Wanderers\u2019 backline stood strong, ensuring a 1\u20130 advantage at the break.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After halftime, confidence grew as the Red & Black began dictating possession and playing with their trademark style. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their dominance paid off when Eleah Hewitt delivered a dangerous cross from the left, with Grace Brian reacting sharply to tuck home the second goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

APIA Leichhardt FC threatened a comeback with a quick counter to reduce the deficit to 2\u20131, but the Wanderers\u2019 response was immediate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Off the bench and into the spotlight, Ruby Drosos made a stunning impact, unleashing a strike from outside the box that deflected past the keeper to restore the two-goal cushion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From there, the Wanderers controlled proceedings until the final whistle, sparking jubilant celebrations as the squad secured a milestone moment for the Girls Academy.
