Western Sydney Wanderers FC have today confirmed the re-signing of young midfielder Talia Younis on a one-year contract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Younis made history with the Red & Black when making her Liberty A-Leagues debut, breaking the record for the youngest ever debutant in the domestic competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 15-year-old went on to star in 15 matches for the club with her performances seeing her named in the CommBank Junior Matildas squad at the recent AFC U17 Women\u2019s Asian Cup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Head coach Robbie Hooker said he was delighted to retain the talent of Younis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are very proud to be working with Talia for another season as she has undeniable talent,\u201d said Hooker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShe has grown so much in her first season of the Liberty A-League competition and we will continue to support her growth and development at the club this coming season.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Younis said she was grateful for the opportunity to continue at the club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt was obviously an honour to make my debut for this club, I\u2019ve been at the club since I was 13. I am very grateful, and grateful to the coaches for giving me this playing opportunity,\u201d said Younis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhether starting or coming on, it was just a really good opportunity to get my name out there and try the best I can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt wasn\u2019t too hard to settle in with the team, it\u2019s a great bunch of girls and top players. It\u2019s easy to play with high quality players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
